New in Germany or using a laundromat for the first time? Every answer below starts with the short answer first. Prices and hours apply to the 7 Wash&Go laundromats in Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg and Karlsruhe.
Opening hours and “near me”
Which laundromat near me is open right now?
All 7 Wash&Go laundromats open Monday to Saturday at 6 am; five close at 11 pm, Bad Cannstatt and Ludwigsburg at 10 pm. On the home page a green dot shows which one is open right now, and “Find the nearest one” sorts them by distance.
Are laundromats in Germany open on Sundays?
Ours are not: all 7 Wash&Go laundromats are closed on Sundays and public holidays, as Baden-Württemberg's Sunday trading law requires. Saturday is your last chance of the week, until 10 or 11 pm.
Are you open on public holidays?
No. On every public holiday in Baden-Württemberg the laundromats stay closed, including regional ones like Epiphany (6 January), Corpus Christi and All Saints' Day. The live status on this site knows all of them.
Can I do laundry before work?
Yes, every location opens at 6 am. Start the wash at 6, move it to the dryer around 6:40, and you are out with dry clothes before 8.
What is the latest time I can start?
Allow about 90 minutes before closing if you want to wash and dry, so you have some buffer. That means starting by about 9:30 pm where we close at 11 pm, and 8:30 pm in Bad Cannstatt and Ludwigsburg.
