There is no Wash&Go in Esslingen. The fastest option is Wash&Go Bad Cannstatt: the MEX regional train takes 7 minutes from Esslingen station to Bad Cannstatt, about 22 minutes door to door. On the S1 it's around 25 to 27 minutes. By car, Stuttgart-Ost is also only about a quarter of an hour away.

The MEX12, MEX16 and MEX18 regional trains need only 7 to 9 minutes to Bad Cannstatt; from there it's a 15-minute walk of just under a kilometre. The S1 takes 12 minutes. To skip most of the walking, change to the U13 at Untertürkheim: it stops at Uff-Kirchhof, about 250 metres from the laundromat, and the timetable shows hardly any extra time, around 25 minutes door to door.
Without traffic both laundromats are about 15 minutes from central Esslingen, with Stuttgart-Ost even slightly shorter. By public transport Ost takes longer because of two changes. Handy for evening visitors: Ost is open until 11 pm, Bad Cannstatt until 10 pm.
Nobody likes a half-hour ride for a single load of T-shirts. But when the laundry has piled up, a laundromat beats washing at home: you run several machines at once instead of one after another, and the dryers finish everything in 20 to 40 minutes. Duvets, pillows and sleeping bags go into the 18 kg XXL machines at €13.50 per load. An 8 kg wash is €5.00, drying €1.50 per 10 minutes. Open Monday to Saturday from 6 am, closed on Sundays and public holidays.
